Drums

About:
Everything started when I was twelve with my first "THE WHO" album "Live at Leeds". Actually everything was clear at this point. Then with "DEEP PURPLE - Made in Japan" it became clearer but the real explosion came with "RAINBOW - On Stage". With the help of these bands I have found my music: ROCK, my instrument: drums, and my hereo: Cozy Powell (unfortunately gone to early, but he is still the greates drummer for me).

A friend taught me the drum basics and when I got my first drum set (TAMA Swing Star) the next step was searching for a band. After no time I played in a band called "TRUCKER" together with Martin Schönbauer (bass), Robert Jeschke (guit.) and a guitaris named Gerald Gradwohl (he was 13 years old). When Robert decided to sing, Bernhard Macheiner came to play keyboards and I bought my new drum set (YAMAHA 9000, Cozy played with this set before ;-))) ) we changed the name of the band into "WIDE SPREAD". To become a professional musican we played up to six times a week. One of us did it and is one of the best guitarist on this planet.

Such as life is, things turned different for me. I met my wife Claudia, started a family, built a house and so on. I remained true to music, even though it was not active. And if one was playing live on stage the flame for the own music never stops to burn.

In summer 2006 by accident (my mowing machine becomes repaired) I met a friend from the past, Erich. He told me that he plays bass again with two guys, Markus and Thomas. They wanted to start a new project but they had no drummer. They were looking for a powerful like I was in the past Erich sayed and asked if I want to play. After some time thinking about it (1 second), consulting my wife (2 seconds), we met for a first rehearsal. We were getting along with each other from the first second, we are rocking like crazy. The best thing is that my 15 year old daughter loves our music and now I AM BACK!!!!!!
